Dear Jamie and Scott--
Reading of the passing of your beautiful mom evoked great memories of the Souders and Favier families.  She and George were always great supporters of our Merced High golf team and my English class activities.  As a fellow Nebraskan I recall attending the 1970 Cornhusker/USC football game with them, a game which ended in a tie but propelled the Huskers to consecutive undefeated seasons and National Championships.  Madeleine's warmth and personality literally "lit up the room" wherever she was.  Janie and I send our love and fondest regards.
