Mai Chee Haude

Mai was the kind of person whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. She was loving, caring, thoughtful, and outgoing, and she carried those qualities with her in every part of her life. She was known for putting others before herself, and she did so with a sincerity that touched family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mai built a life marked by hard work and dedication. She spent her years working at Certified Laboratory as a Sample Entry Lead and also at Color Press, which later transferred over to Quad Graphics. Through her years of employment, she earned the respect of her coworkers through her commitment and steady presence. She approached her work with care and responsibility, and she left a positive impression on those who worked alongside her.

Family was central to Mai’s life, and she treasured the people closest to her. She is survived by her loving husband, Aaron Haude; her stepchildren, Kelsea Haude and Aaron Haude Jr.; her brother, Nhia Moua; and her sisters, Dee Moua and Youa Moua. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kia Vang and Yee Moua, whom she held dear in her heart throughout her life.

Those who knew Mai will remember her as a loving, kind, and spirited woman whose generosity of heart and joyful personality made a lasting impact. She had a way of making others feel seen, valued, and appreciated.Her family and friends will forever remember her for the light she brought into their lives and the many ways she showed her love.

She will always be loved and never forgotten.

A Visitation Service will be held on May 15, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California.

After Visitation Service, the family warmly invited you to join them at Bear Creek Community church from 1:00 to 11:00 p.m. to fellowship and a shared meal.
