Manuel was a Merced resident for 69 years and previously lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for 18 years. He worked as a Cement Mason for 50 years and was a proud fifty-year member of the Operative Plasterers And Cement Masons International Association.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents, Merejildo and Agustina Garcia; brothers, Ramon Garcia and Merejildo Garcia; and sisters, Maria Amparo Catalan and Clara Onstead.
He is survived by his wife, Tomasa Garcia of Merced; sons, Danny Garcia and wife Wendy of Fresno, CA, and Duane Garcia of Sacramento, CA; daughters, Diana Garcia McNew and husband Michael of Marina, CA, and Regina Lieb of Oceanside, CA; sisters, Agustina Fierro and husband Ernest and Lisa Asbury and husband Wes; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Garcia were private.
