Marcelino Munoz

He is survived by his wife Juanita Munoz; his children Rosa Torres, Sabas (Sally) Munoz, Josephine Nanez, Jesse (Linda) Munoz, Frances Garcia, Marcelino (Laura) Munoz Jr., Antonia Munoz, Daniel (Frances Garibay) Munoz, Pauline Munoz and Pedro Munoz; twenty three grandchildren; sixty-six great grandchildren and thirty two great-great grandchildren.

Marcelino is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Sabas Munoz; his son Cruz Munoz; brothers Manuel and Robert Munoz; sister Francesca Munoz; son in laws Raymond Torres, Fortino Calvillo, Thomas Nanez and Tony Moreno; and his grandchildren Thomas Nanez Jr., Paulina Chambers and Brianna Munoz.

He enjoyed playing pool, gardening, going to the casino, his grandchildren and watching novelas with his Juanita. He was well known in Planada as someone willing to help his friends and neighbors.

A visitation for Marcelino will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with rosary starting at 10:00 a.m. the funeral mass will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 9317 Amistad St, Planada, CA 95365. Interment will follow at Plainsburg Cemetery located at 8943 Gillette Ave, Merced, CA 95341.
