Born on September 16, 1960, Margarita lived a life centered on faith, love, and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, strength, and selfless heart touched everyone who knew her. Her greatest joy was caring for the people she loved, and her legacy will live on through the family she cherished so deeply.
Margarita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesus Manuel Ceja, and her precious daughter, Maggie. While their loss left an everlasting place in her heart, we find comfort in knowing they are together again.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Antonio, Alex, Jesus, and Sandra; her cherished grandchildren, Rosemarie, Simon, Emily, Reuben, Marilyn, Marilisa, Angel, Jace, and Kendal; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Carlos, Gigi, Marcelino, and Adeline, who were a special blessing in her life.
Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the love, wisdom, and beautiful memories she gave us. While she will be deeply missed every day, we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace, reunited with her husband and daughter, and watching over all those she loved.
Visitation will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home on August 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Church on August 6, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
