Maria "Chava" Cervantes, a beloved and devoted individual, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on January 14, 1966, in Sahuayo, Michoacán, Mexico, Chava was known for being hard-working and kind-hearted.
Chava dedicated her career to farm labor and agriculture, contributing significantly to the industry with her diligent work ethic and commitment.
She was predeceased by her husband, Javier Cervantes, and her father, Jose Jesus Valencia Hernandez. Chava is survived by her loving children, Santiago Cervantes, Crystal Saechao, and Maria Luisa Cervantes. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Maddison Saechao, Clayton Saechao, Emma Saechao, Sophie Ariana Cervantes, and Sebastian Santiago Cervantes.
Chava leaves behind her mother, Maria de Jesus Higareda de Valencia, and her siblings: brothers Jose Valencia, Antonio Valencia, Jesus Valencia, Javier Valencia, Clemente Valencia, and Raul Valencia, as well as her sister Alicia Reyes and Maria Guadalupe Valencia.
