Marshay Deon Damond Wilson was born on March 31, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Los Banos, California to parents Ceceilia Williams (Atwater, CA) and James Lamont Wilson. Marshay was baptized at an early age and grew up in the Central Valley.
He attended Bellevue Elementary School and proudly graduated from Bellevue High School in Atwater, CA in 2016. Marshay was an active athlete who enjoyed football, basketball, and dancing. He had a vibrant spirit and loved outdoors activities such as camping, fishing, crawfishing, riding dirt bikes, jet skiing, and hiking. He also found joy in cooking which led him to becoming a content creator and starting his own cooking channel on YouTube, but most importantly, spending quality time with his family. Marshay brought joy to everyone around them.
Marshay Wilson’s life was tragically cut short on April 14, 2026 in Merced, CA. Despite this, he had the profound accomplishment of earning his Barber Certification from Milan Institute on April 20, 2026, a milestone that reflected his dedication and hard work.
Those who knew him will remember his love for life, his energy on the dance floor, his one of a kind personality and the way he cherished simple moments with the people he cared about.
He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Serenity Wilson and Miracle Wilson; his brothers, James Wilson (Atwater, CA), Lonnie Wilson (Atwater, CA), Kymari Abercrombie (Atwater, CA), Jayshawn James (Atwater, CA), Jayden James (Atwater, CA), Jaylen James (Atwater, CA); and his stepbrothers and stepsisters, Steven Hunt (Texas), Gerard Ewing (Merced, CA), Dalieasha Ewing (Merced, CA), Jeromy Ewing (Las Vegas, NV), and Laquisha (Los Angeles, CA). He also leaves behind his sister Shanae King Tatro (Merced, CA), several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, loving family and friends who will carry his memory forward.
Marshay was preceded in death by his father James Lamont Wilson, great-grandmother Jeweline Mays (Carl Mays), grandfather Rueben Wilson, grandmother Peggy Ward, aunt Lisa Presley, grandmother Norma Jean Thompson, Aunt Angel Smith, two brothers O’Shae Carmenal, and Kashawn Bradley.
Marshay’s bright smile, adventurous heart, and devotion to his daughters and family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
