Mary Leona Lemons peacefully entered eternal life on November 3, 2025. Born on October 5, 1947, Mary lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for those closest to her.
Mary was known for her caring heart and her deep devotion to her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren — whether she was baking something special in the kitchen, sharing stories, or dancing to her favorite songs. Her warmth could fill a room, and her gentle faith in God guided her throughout her life.
Mary is survived by her brother Gary, her four children — Billy, Angie, Danny, and Nicole — as well as her fourteen grandchildren: Kayla, Maddi, Ray, Bradley, Alexis, Samantha, T.J., Coty, Ashley, Kari, Lisa, Brenda, Shane, and Nikki. She also leaves behind eighteen beloved great-grandchildren: Hayden, Ethan, Peighton, Kenzie, Riley, Mason, Huntleigh, Braeleigh, Willow, Scarlett, Dalton, Penelope, Malakai, Maikah, Mia, Ernest, Jacob, and Elizabeth.
Mary’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A Graveside Service for Mary will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Chowchilla District Cemetery. 233359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.
Following will be a Reception at Edward Ray Park, 625 N 15th Street, Chowchilla, California.
