

Michael was born on December 15, 1942, in San Diego, CA to his parents Harvey and Helen. He was the oldest of seven children and treasured his childhood in the small town of Sutherlin, Oregon.
He served in the Navy landing triage planes in the Vietnam War and thoroughly enjoyed his adventures throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
After relocating his parents, brothers, and sisters from Sutherlin, OR to San Jose, CA he earned an associate's degree that prepared him for a stable career. Most of his career was with General Electric as a Systems Analyst in San Jose, CA.
He married Rosie in 1980, and they had three children together. His wife Rosie passed away in 1990, and he dutifully raised their children as a single parent with the help of his family.
He is survived by his children Aileen, Matthew, and Kayla, his sisters Nancy, Teresa, and Judy, brothers Richard and Chuck, and his two grandchildren, Roselyn and Miles. He was preceded in his passing by his wife Marlene and brother Tim.
He loved classic cars, the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, tennis, and nature walks. He was an incredible billiards player and earned many bowling trophies. He was smooth on the dance floor, especially when moved by the music. He always provided for his three children, including family trips to Yosemite, Oregon, and throughout California.
Michael was a faithful Roman Catholic. He will be missed and remembered through his love of music, many sayings, and his unwavering sweet tooth.
