Michelle "Micki" Rucker

Merced, California - It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michelle "Micki" Rucker, of Merced, on November 24, 2023, at the age of 71 years old. Micki was born on October 22, 1952 to Pete and Millie Komlenich in Fort Worth, Texas. Her family moved to the Merced area when she was 14 years old when her father was stationed at Castle Air Force Base. She graduated Merced High School in 1971.

Micki will be lovingly remembered for her love of animals, vibrant personality, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, a cherished friend, and a respected member of her community.

Micki pursued many careers, including loan officer, real estate broker, home builder, and she most recently owned the store, Funky Junk, in Sonora. She had a passion for all animals especially those in need of being rescued and loved. Micki had a lot of fun and her presence brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Micki is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bob Rucker, daughter, Sharon Rucker (Rick Scoto), son Bob Rucker Jr (Toni Rucker), grandchildren, Reece Williams, Carlen Williams, Trevor Rucker and Morgan Rucker, sisters Sandi Kemps (Michael Kemps) and Jacki White of Reno, NV, many nieces and nephews, along with numerous relatives and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A celebration of Micki's life will be held on December 17th, at 12:00, at the Merced Golf and Country Club, 6663 Golf Rd, Merced. The family welcomes all who knew Micki to attend and share memories of her life.

Micki's spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
