Natasha Danielle Saldivar, a lifelong Merced resident was born on December 1, 1982 and passed away unexpectedly at home on September 1, 2012 at the age of 29.
As a teenager Natasha volunteered as a Candy Stripper at Mercy Hospital from 1998-2000. She attended local schools and graduated from Merced High in 2000.
Natasha was a devoted wife to Robert Saldivar for 10 years. Natasha took pride in being a Homemaker and raising their two boys Robert, 9 and Nathan, 7. She was very involved with her boys’ sports and also coached her boy’s football teams. She was assistant Rookies Team Coach for Merced Youth Bears Football from 2010-2012.
Natasha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Schlessinger.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Robert and Nathan; parents, Jodi and David Coleman and Melvin and Dora Schlessinger; grandmother, Darline Huffman ; siblings, Charity, Anthony, Janelle, Garrett, Cassie, Sarah, Kamie, D’Onna and Davina; her dearest friend, Karen Anderson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Natasha will forever be in our hearts.
A viewing will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1080 E. Yosemite Ave, Merced, CA on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 10:00 A.M.-10:45 A.M. with services to follow on at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow services at Merced District Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
