Friends and family knew him as "Nick". Nick and his parents and siblings lived in England, Florida and Maryland throughout his growing up years. The family settled in Merced and he graduated from Merced High School and Merced community College, where he was on the Dean's list.
He is preceded in death by his father, Nick Sr.; Robert and Richard.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Contreras and step-father, Humberto; sisters, Corinne Koumarianos, Denise Wayman and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a lifetime of special friends whom he dearly loved. Nick was kind and never forgot anyone. How lucky you were if you received a Birthday text or a Holiday one.
