After moving to Merced, CA in 1959, Norma was a secretary to the Life Sales Manager at Farmers Insurance Group for 18 years before retiring in 1978.
She belonged to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and following retirement, enjoyed her membership at the Merced Golf & Country Club and volunteering at the Mercy Hospital gift shop.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Piacentini Sr.; her parents, Matteo and Jennie Marino; brothers, Matthew, Alfred, and Roland; and sisters, Teresa, Evelyn, and Eleanor.
She is survived by her son, William J. Piacentini Jr. of Felton, CA; daughter, Susan M. Parsley (Larry) of Merced, CA; grandchildren, Christie Herting (Justin) and Tanya Piacentini; great grandchildren, Camara and Henry Herting; 3 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren; and one step great great grandson.
