

Olga Roberta Reyes, a cherished and beloved resident of Merced, California, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on June 24, 1960, Olga was known for her honesty, hard-working nature, and the love she generously shared with family and friends.
In her early life, Olga dedicated herself to a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and caretaker, where she spent many years helping others with unwavering dedication until her retirement. Her life was full of vibrant moments, enjoying outings, dining, and spending quality time with those she loved. Olga's blunt honesty and forthright nature made her unforgettable and deeply cherished by all who knew her. Her strength, humor, and love will continue to live on in her family.
Olga was married to Robert Reyes for 30 years, and together they built a loving family. She is survived by her children, Demitria Castrillo (Joseph) and Monique Metzger (Matthew). She leaves behind her mother, Florence Garcia, and her stepfather, Clemente Garcia. Olga is also survived by her brothers, John Ramos, Timothy Ramos, and Kenny Ramos. Her legacy includes 14 grandchildren: Chanel, Raul, Alicia, Olga, Luis Barriga, Damien, Daniella Medina, Josiah Castrillo, Star Aragon, John III, Tanya Balleza, Shellecia, Jazhia, and Katalayhia Metzger, as well as 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Medina Ramos Sr., and her sisters, Shirley Garcia and Ginger Zamora Johnson.
A visitation will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, located at 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 953416304, on December 3, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Vigil Service with Rosary will take place at Sacred Heart Church, 562 W 12th St, Merced, CA 95341, on December 4, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Merced Cemetery District, 1300 B St, Merced, CA 95341, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Olga's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and honesty. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
