3/20/1940-11/9/2012
Patricia Kaminski of Merced, 72, born to Henry (Hank) and Lucille Espinosa on March 20, 1940 was surrounded by loving members of her extended family as God released her from her illness and suffering on November 9, 2012.
Pat was a loving person who enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, dancing, and spending time with her family. She was a big Merle Haggard fan. She also enjoyed interior design, painting, and crocheting. She loved wearing high heeled shoes, and her sparkly wardrobe reflected the sparkle in her personality.
She owned and operated a downtown dress shop called the Gilded niche. Pat also worked for AT&T, Thrifty’s, Merced County Schools, and Merced City Hall.
During her lifetime she had many medical problems but was always upbeat. Her Catholic faith sustained her during many medical battles.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, Henry Espinosa; first husband, Joe Hampton; and second husband, Ted Kaminski all of Merced.
Pat is survived by her children, Keith (Mame) Hampton, Joseph Hampton, Melanie (Roy) Tighe all of Merced, and Terry (Trish) Hampton of Delhi; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way; mother, Lucille Espinosa; brothers, Adrian and Mickey (Aurora) Espinosa; sisters, Bonnie Trabucco Gallegos and Melissa (Tony) Bargas all of Merced.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Enad, Dr. Wong, the nurses, and staff at Mercy Hospital.
