Hi Ron,
I met your mom through the Gateway Quilters Guild. What a beautiful person; so sweet and caring. She showed me how to applique and was very supportive of what I did. She always had a wonderful smile for all of us. I will cherish my memories of Paula and wish you comfort and peace is the days ahead.

Ron, I knew your Mom through our Gateway Quilters Guild. She was an extremely talented lady. She was very humble and shy when we admired her hand quilting and appliqué work she would blush and say “oh it’s very easy, anyone can do it” well certainly not like her. She has several Golden Bears to prove just how good she was. I have a purse she was helping me make but the pattern was in her head so when she stopped coming to our meetings I never finished it.
I came across it about a month ago and was thinking of her. She has been and will be missed. My deepest condolences to you Ron

Dear Roy,
I knew Paula through the Gateway Quilters' Guild. I admired her hand applique quilts with awe. She won several Golden Bear Awards for her quilts over the years. Paula was always so humble about her beautiful quilts and did not want our accolades.
She was also active in teaching and helping with various activities with the quilt guild. I will miss her. May God heal your heart.

Ron I have many fond memories of your dear Mother. She was a sweet. kind, hospitable, talented woman We shared an intense love of applique and hand quilting. I admired all of her exquisitely handmade quilts which decorated her home. She was an inspiration to me and I will miss her very much! If you know someone who would like to join Gateway Quilter’s Guild, I would be pleased to pay that person’s first year of membership in memory of my beloved friend and applique mentor Paula. I am so sorry for your loss.
