Rhonda Louise Lis was born March 11, 1966 in San Jose, California to Barbara and Alan Knox. Rhonda passed away on Saturday September 1, 2018 in Merced, California at the age 52. Rhonda was very active with Community Services she spent time with the following organization serving and helping all she came in contact with, Servants Heart for the Homeless, New Beginnings-Pet Rescue, Nineva Food Distributions, She also was associated with the following churches Bible Christian of Le Grand, California, Ain’t Your Mama’s Church, Merced, California. Rhonda had a passion for painting and crafts and loved creating treasures whether it was painting and working on furniture, or painting her beloved rocks for Rock on Merced, she had so many projects that she was working on an loved them all, some displayed at her home she shares with her husband Dan. Rhonda had a knack of seeing the beauty and recreating it in all the things she found. Rhonda is survived by her husband Daniel Lis; son Cody Corsen; daughter Bailey Smith; step sons Jacob Clark, Tyler Clark; Her parents Alan and Barbara Knox; her sister Brenda Knox and Sandra Prince; her mother-in-law Mona Lis; she also leaves behind to cherish her memory her three grandchildren along with many family members and friends from all walks of life. A Celebration of Life Service for Rhonda will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Center, located at 650 East Olive Avenue, Merced, CA 95340.
