Robert Preston Glenney

Bob was born on July 20, 1940 on Staten Island, New York to Walter an Edna Glenney. Bob grew up in Tom’s River, New Jersey. After completing his education Bob proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Navy, back during the Vietnam War. He worked in the construction industry for many years as a commercial electrician. Upon retirement he obtained property in Salmon, Idaho where he would spend a lot of time enjoying fishing, camping and four wheeling with his friends in Idaho. Bob enjoyed playing golf and watching football. Bob was a person who if anyone needed help he would be the first to step up.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Edna Glenney.

Bob is survived by his son Christopher Glenney of Tulare, California, his sister Doris Waters of Forks River, New Jersey, his longtime partner and care giver Lana Spurlock of Planada, California and her family.

Bob brought a gift to all our lives. Graveside services will be held on October 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Plainsburg Cemetery in Merced, California. In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to the Planada Community Church.
