She was born June 1, 1962 in Merced to Anita Gonzales Segura and the late Ignacio Segura. She was the second child and oldest daughter. Sara was a graduate of Le Grand High School class of 1980 and lived in Planada her entire life.
Sara was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Her vivacious personality filled the lives of many with laughter and joy. She made friends wherever she went and was always the first to offer help to anyone. Sara was known for her baking and, most notably, her cakes that she shared with all the neighborhood children.
She is the loving & devoted mother of Mark Segura and Brandon Segura of Planada. Loving doggie mom to Chiquito.

A rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Church, Planada, CA on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 7:45 PM. The funeral mass will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11::00 AM, also at Sacred Heart Church in Planada, California.
Following the funeral mass there will be a luncheon to celebrate Sara’s life at the American Legion, 12560 Le Grand Rd, Le Grand, CA.
