Shirley Ann Row

Shirley was 78 years old when our Heavenly Father called her home. Shirley is survived by her daughter Tracey (Steve) Wood, and granddaughters Nicole, Katie, and Kelli Wood. Her sister Judy Kosich Dickerson, brother-in-law Marshall Dickerson II, cousin Kathy (John) Hogfre and numerous nieces' and nephews.

Shirley is the oldest daughter of the late Mike and Peggy Kosich. She was born and raised in Modesto, California, attending John Sutter Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School and graduating from Thomas Downey in 1962. She married at the age of 20 and moved to Merced, California and established roots here. Shirley was very involved at Hopeton and Washington schools as a room mom, Art in the Park, and Merced River 4 H club. She was part of the original group of bunch ladies, loved Merced Elks bingo and trips to the casinos. She also loved watching her granddaughters play volleyball. Shirley worked at Bellevue School in Atwater, California as the front office secretary for 20 years. She loved people, being a mom, grandmother, sister and friend.

We will gather to celebrate Shirley’s life on January 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Stratford Evans, 1490 B St., Merced, Ca. 95341
