Former Merced resident, Steven Mays, 48, died November 6, 2011 at his home in Sacramento, CA.
Stevie was born August 5, 1963 in Merced, CA to Annie & David Mays. Stevie was a strong willed and kind hearted person who was capable of doing anything he set his mind to do.
Stevie is survived by his loving mother, Annie Mays; twin sister, Sherry Turner; sister, Ginger Mathis; brother, Anthony Mays; twin boys, Frederick & Steven Mays; granddaughter, Mia Mays; ex-wife, Melissa Lloyd Patterson; dear friend, Yvette Yarborough; and a host of nieces, nephews, & friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 2745 E. State Hwy 140, Merced, CA.
