Thomas Michael Banks passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 after a long illness.
Tom graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School and attended Merced College and University of Reno, Nevada where he played football. Tom loved sports and was a huge SF Giants and 49er fan. He treated his family and friends to many “Opening Day” Giants games and tailgate parties.
He loved good food, BBQ’s, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Banks.
He is survived by his loving mother, Pauline Banks; his sisters, Christy Banks, Cindy Thomas (Rik), Linda Bair (Bruce), Donna Bandoni (Gary); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
