He lived in Planada, California his whole life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Tommy is survived by his parents, Tommy G Gonzales Sr. and Patricia E. Gonzales, his brother Steve Gonzales (Jamie), sisters Virginia G. Armenta (Felipe) and Kris Ann Gonzales Navarro (Bert). he is also survived by seven nephews, one niece, two great nephew, and three great nieces.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Tomas and Jessie Gonzales, maternal grandparents: Louie and Emily Estrada, and great nephew: Liam Ryan Gonzales
Tommy loved Fresno State Bulldogs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs. Tommy attended Shelby School from the age of 9 and graduated at the age of 21, he then attended Kingsview Workshop in Atwater, California for about 20 years. After calling it quits, he decided to enjoy life and stay home with his beloved parents, he enjoyed going to the casinos, shopping, fishing, the zoo and going bowling. But most of all he loved spending time with his family watching football and wrestling.
Our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Great Uncle will be tremendously missed.
A Vigil service with Rosary will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, with Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California 95341. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9317 Amistad St, Planada, California 95365 . Graveside will be immediately after mass at Plainsburg Cemetery, 8943 Gillette Ave, Merced, California 95341.
