Tony Gooden, a lifelong resident of Merced, CA, was born on April 25, 1988 and passed away February 2, 2012 at the age of 23.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda “Baby Sis” Glenn; grandfather, William “Grandpa Jim” Pickens; aunt, Angela Johnson; and cousin, Duane Caradine.

He is survived by his companion and expected mother of his child, Judy Gutierrez of Merced; parents, Tammy Winzer of Merced & Louis Q. Gooden Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; grandmother, Evelyn Gooden of Los Angeles, CA; grandfather, Louis Q. Gooden Sr.; sister, Shavonda L. Gooden of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Phillip Q. Gooden, Brandon Q. Gooden of Los Angeles, CA, and Gary Q. Gooden of Merced; auntie-mom, Debbie “T-Debi” Glenn of Elk Grove, CA; “brousins”, DeAndre O. (Jennifer) Scandrick of Los Banos, CA, Randy L. (Ranae) Tyler Jr. of Elroy, AZ, and DeVonte L. Tyler of Sacramento, CA; godmother, Marie King of Elk Grove, CA; and god brothers & god sister, Timothy, Anthony, & Jennifer King of Elk Grove, CA.

Visitation is on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA from 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. Services will be on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Apostolic Tabernacle, 2745 E Hwy 140, Merced, CA at 1:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Merced District Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
