Mrs. Velma Sorci was born on August 23, 1927 in Snelling, CA and passed away on January 8, 2013 in Merced, CA at the age of 85.
Velma lived in Atwater for over 50years and was a cafeteria worker for Atwater Elementary School District.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Sorci; parents, Jesse and Mary Corvello; and son, Dan B. Sorci.
She leaves behind her grandchild, Daniel Sorci and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Daniel, and Elijah Sorci.
A graveside service will be held at Winton District Cemetery, 7651 Almond Ave, Winton, CA on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1:00pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
