

Ginny Puglizevich was born and educated in Buffalo, NY and moved to Arizona in her early 20’s where she met her first husband, Judd Bogue. They moved to Merced in 1949 and opened Judd’s Jewelers at its first location, in what is now Merced Theatre’s Business Office. They subsequently moved the store to its current location on Canal St. Judd passed away in the early 70’s and Ginny continued successfully to operate the business until retiring and turning the reigns over to its present owner, Bruce Ingraham. During the 45 years that Ginny was in the jewelry business she enjoyed many loyal friends and customers whom she cherished.
In 1984, Ginny became the beloved wife of her second husband, Nick Puglizevich who preceded her in death in 1995. Her parents, Leon and Mary Conway and her step son-in-law, Bob Waller also preceded her.
She is survived by her loving family; cousin, Eleanor Harris; stepchildren, Diana Waller, Richard (Sue) Puglizevich, and Joanie (Steve) Tinetti; 8 beloved grandchildren who brought much joy and pleasure to her life, Mark (Tracy) Waller, Chris Waller, Mike Waller, Cheryl (Jeff) Schanze, Matt Puglizevich, Denice (Scott) Eldridge, Laura Tinetti, and Pete (Aleksandra) Tinetti; 9 great grandchildren who greatly loved her, Jordan and Allison Waller, Taelor and Nicholas Waller, Bradley and Colby Schanze, Scott Jr. and Kalanna Eldridge, and Amelia Tinetti.
She was fond of music, singing, dancing, knitting, and flowers. She was very proud of her Irish heritage. Ginny was a devout member of St. Patrick’s Parish and went on to be with our Lord Jesus Christ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 12:00pm at St. Patrick’s Church, 671 E. Yosemite Ave., Merced, CA 95340.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick’s Parish would be appreciated.
