Carolyn S. Espey

at 2pm in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in

Meridian Memorial Park with Stephens Funeral Home handling arrangements. Mrs. Espey passed away

Friday, September 7, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center North Campus. She was a retired

surgical nurse who enjoyed taking care of her patients and loving her family. Survivors include her

husband J. W. Espey of Meridian, daughter Shellye Espey of Collinsville, sister Lillian Wallace of Navarre

Beach, Fl, brother Walter Skinner of Chunky, nieces Judy Hoffman of Houston, TX, Joyce Rumery of

Meridian, Brenda Ames of Navarre Beach, Fl, Daphne Sarfino of California, nephews Paul Wallace Jr.

of Iowa, La, Jerry Skinner of Picayune, MS, great nieces Carrie Skinner of Picayune, MS, Sheri Kirkland

of Orange Beach, Al, Deeya Davis of Gulf Breeze, Fl, and great nephews Trent Wallace of Meridian,

Craig Johnson of Orange Beach, Al and Lee Ames of Gulf Breeze, Fl. She was preceded in death by

her daughter Sheila C. Espey and parents James and Mary Lee Skinner. Pallbearers serving are

Johnny Trest, Allen Howse, Clay Howse, Charles Higginbotham, Billy Touchstone and Jim Ethridge.

Visitation will be 12:30 until service time Monday at Stephens Funeral Home.
