Fred Monsour

Funeral service for Mr. Fred "Snook" Monsour will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 9 at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sephus Garrett will be officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Monsour, 88, of Meridian, passed away Friday, December 6 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

He was retired as a rate clerk for Illinois Central Gulf railroad.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Winifred Mae Monsour; sons, Freddie Monsour and wife Gracie of Meridian, Michael Monsour and wife Andrea of Brandon; four grandchildren, Fred Anthony Monsour, Jared Monsour, Cecilly Monsour and Erin Monsour.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rosie Monsour and his son, Edgar Brice Monsour.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Stephens Funeral Home.
