Thomas Neville Walters

Mr. Walters passed away in his home on July 3, 2016. He was a Master Gardener, graduate of Mississippi State, member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church and he loved traveling and visiting out west.

He is survived by his children, Sheryl Rutledge (David) of Danville, IN, and Thomas Walters Jr. of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jessica Rutledge, Brittany Rutledge, Derrick Walters, Chris Walters and Ryan Walters; brothers, Dr. Joseph Walters (Marianne) of Waynesville, NC and Gene Walters (Donna) of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Patricia Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Walters; and parents, Belton and Estelle Walters.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Meridian Performing Arts Center.
