William Duane Reede

A Memorial service for Mr. William Duane Reede will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 3 pm at Northcrest Baptist Church. Dr. Danny Lanier will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Reede, 46, of Bailey, passed away Monday, January 2 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

He was employed as an electrician for Woodall Electric for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Susan Reede, son, Anthony “Tony” Reede and his fiancée, Magan, of Bailey, sisters, Angela Daniels and husband Dale of Madison, MS, Lisa Covington and husband Ken of Meridian, brother, Ricky Reede and wife Amy of Meridian. He is also survived by nieces, Alexa Covington, Nicole Covington, Patty McElhenney, Heather Melton, nephews, Austin Reede and Byron Parten, sister in laws, Nancy McElhenney of Toomsuba, Peggy Mazingo and husband Harold of Meridian, and brother in law, Joe Melton of Conley, GA.

Mr. Reede was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ethel Reede, mother in law, Catherine Griffin, Step father in law, W.J. “Cotton” Griffin, grandparents, Aubry and Irene McPheeters and nephew, Greg Berden.

Visitation will be 1 pm to 3 pm the day of the service.
