Alvin was a member of the local b’nai brith and Jewish War Veterans, He served in the Navy and continued in the Naval Reserves. He was a USPS Letter Carrier and teacher before retiring. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, playing tennis, bicycling, RVing and spending time with family. He now joins his wife, Bobby of 65 years of marriage in everlasting love.
Alvin is survived by 3 sons: Scott (Debbie) Friedman of St. Petersburg, FL; Craig (Tammy) Friedman of Melbourne, FL and Clark Friedman of Melbourne, FL.; 3 Grandchildren: Shanna, Douglas (Courtney) and Harrison; and 2 great-grandchildren: Ronni and Roman.
A graveside service for Alvin will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US HWY 1, Rockledge, Florida 32955.
