Andrew William Buonanni, 27, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2014. He is son of Nancy and Bill Buonanni, and brother to Kate and Marc Buonanni. Survived by his Grandparents Henry and Frances Buonanni of Merrimack, NH, Jady Gauvin of Wells, ME, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The late Robert Gauvin, Marie Gauvin, and Janice and Gregg Harden preceded him. Andrew lived in Orlando and worked for Lockheed Martin as a Systems Integration Analyst. He was born on September 18th, 1986 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He spent most of his school years in Pennsylvania, moving to Merritt Island High School his junior year, class of 2005. Always a stud baseball player, he was a varsity scholarship athlete at Florida Institute of Technology, where he was a powerful left-handed pitcher. Andrew played in multiple scout teams (Brevard Stars, Central Florida Renegades) and collegiate summer wooden bat leagues (Shenandoah Valley League, Florida Collegiate Summer League) where he was an all-star and ranked as the number three prospect in the state of Florida. Andrew graduated from FIT in 2010 with a BS in Aviation Management. He loved surfing, traveling, meeting new people, was free-spirited and not afraid to put himself in a new environment and make the best of it. Andrew was greatly loved, and will be missed more than words can say. Service will be held Thursday, July 24, 4pm, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church on Merritt Island with a life celebration immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Andrew’s memory to be made to FIT baseball team, Attn: Coach Berkemeier, 150 W. University Blvd. Melbourne, FL 32901.
