

Angelo was born in Darby, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1940, to Angelo and Helen Micalizzi (nee Gionnoscoli). He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help grade school and graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School (Class of 1957), in Drexel Hill, PA. He served as a Marine Corps reservist. He worked for Philadelphia Electric Company from July 12, 1960, until his retirement as a systems operator on July 1, 1995.
He and his wife, Arlene, moved to Merritt Island, FL in 1996 where they enjoyed their home on the canal. They would watch the manatees, dolphins, and gators cruise by and take rides on their boat. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all the Philadelphia teams. During his retirement, he also drove a school bus for Brevard County Schools. He was a member of Divine Mercy Church.
Angelo was the life of every party that he attended, leaving lasting memories with all that shared time with him. He had a great sense of humor and could make everyone laugh with his quips and jokes. He brought happiness to every day, especially to his family. His kindness and generosity will live forever in our hearts. Angelo will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Angelo was predeceased by his wife, Arlene in March, 2019 and his son Joey in March, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Angel Micalizzi, of Merritt Island, FL, two grandchildren Angel Queflander and RJ Queflander both of Merritt Island, FL, sisters, Francis Lewis (Harvey) of Merritt Island, FL, Marlynne Micalizzi, of Media, Pennsylvania, Sandra Lanza (Wayne) of Townville, South Carolina, and Debra Stull (Stu) of Melbourne, FL and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation and Services will be at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953, January 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
