Anita E. Scarborough

Anita Peavler Scarborough of Merritt Island, FL passed away on THURSDAY September 30, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 4, 1937. Anita was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island, Moose Lodge #2073 and Ladies Auxillary of Merritt Island Elks Lodge # 2650.

Anita is survived by her loving children; Rick Peavler of Merritt Island, Dennie Peavler of Cocoa, Sue Pope of North Carolina, Bob Peavler of New Port Richey. She is also survived by her Grandchildren; Amber, Paige, Justin, Bob, Allison, Tripp, Dusty, Jimmy, Paul and Great Grandchildren; Anthony, Jake and Joseph, Brother, Walter McCarty, and sister, Pat Monte.

Anita was preceded in death by her husbands, Ovid Scarborough and Bob Peavler, son Joe Peavler and Daughter Ann Owings.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 10. 2010 at 4:00 p.m.

At Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island, 280 E. Merritt Ave, Merritt Island, FL.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Health First.
