Anthony Thomas Bekavac, 79, died Saturday May 5, 2012 in Merritt Island, Florida. Tony(Tom) was born in Clairton, Pennsylvania. He came to Brevard County in 2010 from Tampa, Florida.
He was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He also was a member of the American Legion.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Bekavac; 5 brothers, Joseph, Michael, John, Peter, Stephen and 2 sisters, Helen and Ann.
He is survived by one brother Nicklaus of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania; extended family and friends in Florida, Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
United States Coast Guard honors will be provided at 2PM on Friday June 8, 2012 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
