

Passed away peacefully at age 86, October 24, 2021, in his home at Cape Canaveral.
He leaves behind a dedicated family with hearts full of love for him and many loyal friends. He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Dean Saccaro, his only daughter Toni Dean Saccaro, two grandsons Corey Boyer, Mitchell Boyer (wife Mary), and great grand-daughter, Raegan Boyer, who were all the light of his life and brought so much joy to him.
Tony was a devout Christian man blessed with a long wonderful life. He grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Istrouma High School. His Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees were earned from the University of Southern Mississippi. He served as a Medical Service Corp Officer in the US Army for 23 years, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired to Pensacola, Florida. Tony began his second career teaching JROTC in Germany. He taught at American High Schools in Wurzburg and Munich. His last JROTC position was at Cocoa Beach Junior Senior High School, from where he retired. Tony was the Minutemen football announcer and was the recipient of The Minutemen Award for volunteer service. Magic entertainment was his hobby. He held the position of president of the The Ron Ulmer Society of American Magicians. He was a good citizen and role model to many.
