Barbara was born in Weixerau, Germany but was brought up in Moosburg, Germany.
In 1953 she married an American soldier serving in Germany with the Army, Robert M. Best now deceased.
Barbara was a homemaker all of her adult life. She spent many years active in DAV Chapter 123. Barbara is survived by one son, one daughter, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are private. Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
