Barbara E. Smith, 83, of cape canaveral, fl, died Thursday, July 30, 2015. Barbara was born in Houston, TX but grew up and lived most of her life in north merritt island. She worked for the cape canaveral port authority for 51 years before retiring. She was their very first employee. Barbara attended st. Luke's episcopal church. She loved to travel and enjoyed sewing. Barbara is survived by her sister, Meredith smith; nephews: Derek and Robert Jenkins; and her constant companion and beloved pet cat, Miss Kitte.
Vistation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home Friday August 7th at 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at St Luke's Episcopal Church, Saturday August 8th at 11:00am.
