

Betty Osborne Duggan passed away peacefully at her home near Tallahassee on May 14. Mrs. Duggan, formerly of Cocoa, FL, was born in Milford, Georgia to Reuben and Mary Ella Osborne on January 31, 1930.
She resided in Cocoa, Florida from 1964 through 2019 where she worked at Belk-Lindsey for over 20 years. A member of Cocoa First Baptist Church since 1964, she enjoyed people and worked at the polls in numerous elections throughout her time in Cocoa. An avid gardener, she was known for her colorful flower beds and uncanny ability to grow a wide variety of plants and vegetables, taking great pride in having a beautiful yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Julian Madison Duggan (1925 – 2011) and is survived by her five children, Sue Bradin of Havana, FL, Kay Duggan (William Campbell) of Asheville, NC, Mary Duggan Webb (Kenneth) of Murfreesboro, TN, Robert Duggan (Helen) of Merritt Island, FL, and Julian Duggan (Jenny) of Cocoa, as well as eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley on Merritt Island Wednesday, May 19, from 6 – 8 pm and services will be at the same location on Thursday, May 20, at 11:00 am
