Carmen Elise Dickinson, 92, of Merritt Island, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 26, 2024. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Carmen was a part time beautician and homemaker. She loved to paint but her most favorite hobby was sewing. There was never a time where she wasn’t sitting at her sewing machine sewing something special for loved ones or special occasions, leaving a legacy of creativity and heirlooms to all who received her gifts.
She is survived by her children, Janet Lee Dickinson, Tracey Alan Dickinson, daughter-in-law, Carla Dickinson and grandchildren, Trevor Dickinson, Megan Dickinson and Monica Dickinson.
Carmen’s kindness, outgoing spirit and generosity will be deeply missed by her family and by all those who knew her. She is now in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ and in no more pain.
A wake for Carmen will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 North Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida.
