

Born in Ashland, PA, to Richard and Elizabeth Stemple, She married her beloved husband, William, in June of 1967, and together they shared a full, joyous life. Carol's family was everything to her, and she loved nothing more than cooking for family gatherings and decorating her home for the holidays. Her two dogs, Peanut and Zoey, brought her much joy, as did her passion for golf and cruising. Over the years, she enjoyed cruising to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska, and even Northern Europe, with memorable visits to Sweden and Russia.
A proud Air Force wife, Carol lived in many places during her husband's service, including North Dakota, California, Virginia, and Florida. She was a florist for over 40 years, starting her career in Virginia and continuing at Carousel Florist in Florida from 1980 until her retirement. Her work and dedication to her craft earned her the respect and admiration of many in the community.
Carol was also deeply involved in the Order of the Eastern Star #35 in Cocoa, FL, where she once held the position of Grand Adah in 2006. Her kindness, generosity, and sense of community will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by sister Susan (Ed) and was a devoted mother to sons Mark (Daune) and Rick (Heather), and a cherished grandmother to Carley, Sean (Kayla), Bryan, Sadie (Jason), and Dylan. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Kami, Isla, Tucker, Emmett, and Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Stemple, and her son, David.
Carol's love for her family and her community will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and dedication to those she loved.
A Visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11am with a funeral to follow at 11:45 A committal service will occur Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 U.S. 1, Mims, FL 32754.
