Merritt Island
Charles D. Crisafulli, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grand father and uncle passed away at the age of 96 on Dec. 21, 2012, at home with family.
Born Oct. 14, 1916, in Wadsworth, OH to Giusseppe and Gelsomina Crisafulli, he moved to Merritt Island at the age of 3 where he spent the rest of his life except when he served his country during WWII in the US Navy.
During his life, he loved to work and plant citrus groves, manufacture irrigation pumps and develop land on Merritt Island. He loved to be on his tractor to the end.
He accepted Jesus Christ at the age of 12 and went on to teach many Bible studies. His love of teaching the Word of God spanned 84 years, and he led his last bible study a few weeks ago at his beloved Cedar Creek Assisted Living. He was a retired International Director in the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship and was a member of Calvary Chapel-Merritt Island.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Anna Furnari Crisafulli, his parents, sister, brother and nephews.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Anderson Crisafulli, who was a great comfort to him in his illness; four children, Joe Crisafulli, Frank Crisafulli, Joyce Ann Crisafulli and Julie (JR) Hansen, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and his children through marriage: Jimmy, Jerry, and Janelle Anderson, 6 granddaughters and one great grandson.
The family wishes to thank Vitas Hospice for their loving care the last week of his life.
Viewing Wylie Baxley, Wed, Dec 26, 5-7 and Service Calvary Chapel Thursday 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
