Dorothy L. Banfield, 92, of Titusville, Florida passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born in Flushing Queens, New York, Dorothy and her husband moved to West Hempstead, New York in 1980 before settling in Titusville, FL.
Dorothy was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic minister. She enjoyed reading, painting, knitting, and often volunteered her time at Hospitals and local food pantries.
Dorothy spent 73 wonderful years with her husband, Donald, and together they raised five children.
She is preceded in death by two children: Dennis R. Banfield and Stuart D. Banfield. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Donald; three children: Suzann Tirino, Jeffrey Banfield (wife, Lorraine), and Deborah Kramer (husband, Raymond); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 3 pm.
