Cathy, Gail and myself were so saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. He was a truly great man and a blessing to those who knew him. We offer our deepest condolences and wish we could have been at the memorial but have moved to Tampa. May he rest in peace and may peace come to the family.

Eddie and I worked together for many years. He never pushed back on anything we wanted to do and he brought a lot of his energy to work every day. Great guy and my thoughts are with his family from his old work family.

I will always remember Eddie's gentle demeanor, his kindness, his smile, his handshake. He looked after me when I was taking care of my mother. When we'd attend church, he'd help me with her wheelchair, hold an umbrella over us when it was raining, place his hand on mom's shoulder when greeting us, shake my hand; I could easily feel his support and love. He left us way too soon, and I hope one day to understand why. My mom used to say that life is just a visit, and some have longer visits than others. I truly believe Eddie is home with our heavenly Father, and that He is pleased with Eddie. The world was brighter with him in it, and I am truly thankful and blessed to have known him.
Rest in God's loving embrace Eddie.

I was honored to work with Eddie for many years on the Shuttle Program. I particularly worked with him on the garments worn by all personnel in hazardous and non-hazardous situations. He was the contracting officer for washing these garments. Sounds easy but wasn't. We also enjoyed memories of old Merritt Island and his boys. I'm so sorry for your loss of this true gentlemen.
