Mom - after 10 months, I still want to call you and get your advice, or see how things are going, or tell you about stuff that is going on. I really miss you - a lot. I know you are in a better place, but you and dad took some of everyone's hearts when you left. I'm waiting for it to be easier, but I just miss you so much. All my love - ALWAYS - Cindi

Sending thoughts of strength to the family at this difficult time.Although it has been years since I was fortunate enough to spend many holidays and Sunday dinners with you all , I still hold those times dear. Ellie and I had some great "girl-talks". She was like a second mom at times. Know that she has left others with wonderful memories. Elisabeth Rubadoux Smith

Mom - I really miss you, and love you so much. I keep trying to stay positive and know that you are with Jesus and your parents, just getting loved by everyone. My heart is breaking, but I'll be forever thankful that you were my mom, and that I had you much longer than you had your parents. Love you

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. It's heart wrenching. I'm crying while I write this. I'm sure you're inundated with calls and paperwork and things to take care of. Would love to call and talk to you, but don't want to add to your burden ... I know how hard it is (lost my Mom a few years ago and my Dad a few years before her). I also know - as much as you think you are prepared for the passing of your parents (you prep all your life for it), you are not prepared - the pain and suffering is tremendous. When you are ready - call me - we'll spend some time together.

I understand the feeling of solice in the fact they are no longer suffering ... and I've since come to the realization that although their body may have passed - for as long as OUR hearts & OUR minds survive -THEY ARE WITH US FOREVER.

Our hearts and prayers are with you. God will give you the strength to get thru this. May your tears soon turn to smiles when you think of your Mom.
