

Enoch Lister Moser, age 83, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on March 1, 2025, Born on March 1, 1942, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he was the son of Beverly and Violet Moser. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara McGraw Moser, daughters Andrea (Heath) Simmons and Tamara (Rob) Starzl, brother, Alexis Moser and grandchildren Noah, Nathan, Drew, Karina, Benjamin, Clara, Gabby, Elena, Samuel and Isaac. He had great love for his grandchildren and enjoyed reading to them, spending time with them and teaching them things like how to make sour dough biscuits on Thanksgiving.
Enoch moved to Brevard County in 1964 to work for NASA and over the next 41 years worked as an electrical engineer and project manager in the Apollo, Shuttle and Expendable Launch Vehicle programs, earning various honors including the prestigious Snoopy Award. After retirement, he was active in the NASA Alumni League.
His passion for music and love for playing the clarinet, which began in high school, continued throughout his 23-year commitment to the Community Band of Brevard and later the Melbourne Municipal Band, where he played clarinet, served on their governing boards, and was instrumental in organizing concerts and writing program notes.
The family’s fond memories of him include him making cony island burgers on the grill, story times on Zoom, checker games, sharing his love of the space program with his grandchildren, and always ready to make us laugh with a joke. Enoch’s legacy of service, music and community involvement will also be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A family graveside service will be held in Auburn, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity in his memory.
