I will miss Fred's intellect, his ability to remember the chronology of history and his insight into the past. Particularly I will miss his conversations about religion and the Church. Not always agreeing with him, I was shocked sometimes and amazed at his positions.

But he was always funny and had a liturgy of descriptive expressions accompanied by hand movements that further painted the oral picture.

He was loyal to his friends and shared the stories of the past with present travels and revisted his Perth Amboy roots as often as his health permitted.Always his faithful friends enabled him to unite with them. Those bonds of friendship will never be dimmed or lost.
