

Jim married Pat on March 18, 1956. Jim is a Korean War Veteran, member of the China Marine Association, and The Chosen Few, exclusive fraternities of honor. Jim served heroically in the Marine Corps for 21 years, receiving an Excellent Service Citation for his infantry role during operations in Korea on November 4, 1950. Jim traveled to bases all over the world including Korea, China, Europe and domestically in North Carolina, Virginia, and Hawaii.
Jim moved to Cocoa in 1993 after residing in the North Lauderdale area for the previous 23 years. He enjoyed retirement as an anchor bowler on Shore Lanes’ Senior League team and sailing with Pat and many friends on the Victory Casino cruise ship. He also enjoyed playing cards, garage sales, listening to music, and being a good neighbor.
Jim is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Pat M. Citta, who passed away earlier this year on February 9, 2015. Jim is survived by Eric and Valerie Citta, his son and daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, Traci Johnson of Rockford, IL, and Chad Bonacorsi of Rockford, IL, Alex Carson, of Alexandria, VA, Katherine Citta, of Cocoa, FL, Richard “Dick” Citta, brother living in Tampa, FL, and Tom and Louann Burt, of Cocoa, FL, nephew and his wife.
