My dear sweet aunt Joan! There are way to many memories to share! But my what a graceful caring and giving person! No matter when we came from the North or even no matter how many of us came from the North! We were always treated like we were her own children not just her nieces! Always so welcoming and we could never stay long enough! Her visits to the North were always welcomed and not long enough! My Family in the south will always be so close to my heart! Love you all so dearly!

Mrs. Hall was one of a kind. She always treated me like another daughter and made me feel welcome in her home - even though she already had a house full of teens running around! She had the most infectious laugh and was the BEST cook ever!! Although years have gone by since I’ve had her in my life, it seems like yesterday. Love and comfort to her entire family.

What a hoot Mrs. Hall (Joanie) always was. So many memories- most with so much laughter. I met her when I was 14 and she was always like a 2nd Momma to me. She drove us kids all over the place, disciplined us, fed us, encouraged us. Beach trips, Key West, or hanging out at Frankie's- it was always a great time. One gathering at Dockside I will forever remember - Sitting outside of course, Cheryl came walking up to join us and proceeded to get her spike heel caught in between the decking slats and walked right out of her shoes. Joanie and all of us laughed so hard! The family we didn't know at the table next to us laughed even harder. The gentleman asked Joanie if she knew that lady ! Joanie laughed for 10 minutes! Pina~ Coladas always!
