Joyce Hoffman

Joyce Hoffman, a Merritt Island resident, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She dedicated her retirement years to giving back to the community by founding and running A Helping Hand Resale Store for over a decade. Through this work with her husband, they positively impacted thousands of lives by meeting the basic daily needs of strangers to being a friendly face that would always light up your day. Her secret to finding a meaningful purpose in life was a grateful heart and peaceful soul. This allowed her to show kindness and unwavering patience to every person she met because she genuinely valued the interactions she had with everyone she met. Her strongly rooted faith helped to guide her actions and made having an active role in Faith Lutheran Church one of her greatest joys along with spending time with her family and cooking meals that were eaten around her dinner table. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
